Polish silhouette workshop on the First Day of Summer
On the First Day of Summer, on April 25 at 13-15, artist Sylwia Zajkowska will conduct a Polish silhouette workshop at the National Museum of Iceland. In the workshop, it will be possible to prepare puppets and more for fun silhouette shows, and participants will be able to take the props they prepare home with them.
The workshop is designed for the whole family and is part of the Children's Cultural Festival in Reykjavík.
Sylwia is educated in theatre studies with a master's degree in puppetry. She was born in Silesia, Poland, but now lives in Iceland. Sylwia has led many workshops for families and children and has actively participated in Baun, a children's and youth festival in Reykjanesbær, where she lives.
All materials will be provided, and you don't have to show up with anything but your creativity and a summer mood.
